What are microdots?

Humans have DNA, things do not.  By simple application of microdots, valuables gain a "DNA" which allows for identification of the valuable items. This technology is often referred to as the DNA for property. Approximately 1mm in diameter, microdots are the ultimate in marking and identification technology. Each marking kit consists of microdots laser etched with a personal identification number in an adhesive contianing a UV trace.  Application is simple and easy by either brush on or spray on method.  Warning decals included alert thieves that items are marked rendering your items useless to thieves.

Simplicity

Microdot technology is a significant breakthrough in the fight against crime and is a compliment to existing anti-theft measures. With criminals becoming more aggressive, the importance of effective marking is quickly gaining recognition the world over.

By marking and registering your goods the identity of your item can be proven in its' entirety or even from parts - such as in the case where for example equipment or parts are stolen and sold illegally.  Police recover many items but due to missing or altered identification these items can not be returned because ownership can not be proven.  Microdots can not be copied and are practically impossible to remove all of them.  Hence microdot technology is gaining fame the world over. 

Database Registration

In Eurodot Data Systems ®, every person, company, or organization becomes a member with a unique membership number.  This allows for multiple microdot numbers to be associated to a member and stored in our database. By following simple instructions, each member can input information for each item marked and upload pictures.  The output from our database works as an aid to police investigators should an item be reported stolen or when an item is recovered. Using a simple magnifying device, police can read the number on the microdot and search the database for the owner. This saves time and money in the investigative process. It is proven to reduce theft rates by working as a theft deterrent and provides evidence for the prosecution in a court of law. Recovery of valuables is possible internationally.
